Acupunture is an ancient Chinese treatment , which is still practised not only in China but all over the world. This procedure is mentioned in a Chinese book written 200 BC and mentions it as a method of relieving pain and treating diseases which was old even at that time .

Acupuncture is based on the idea that everything in life is a balance of two forces-Yin , the weak negative forces and Yang, the strong positive forces.

This applies to our bodies also and if there is a surplus or shorage of either of these forces, we become ill.

To treat an illness, the acupuncturist sticks very thin needles into the skin at any of hundreds of special points on the body-points along which these forces Yin and Yang flow.

The needles stimulate the flow of Yin or Yang and restore a Proper Balance.
